About us
Hi friends! We are Little Hands Lab LLC,
founded by Kelly Phillippi and Gabby Cummins, two moms from Bridgewater with a big love for our little learners. We created Little Hands Lab to bring hands-on, sensory play experiences that spark creativity, learning, and LOTS of giggles. As moms, we know how important play is for connection, growth, and those magical “lightbulb” moments. Together, we wanted to create a safe space for toddlers and their caregivers to come together, enjoy playtime and foster friendships, without the stress of a mess.
Our Business Policy
Mission Statement
Our goal is to provide safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate sensory play experiences for children. We believe play should be hands-on, creative, and inclusive for all abilities.
Health & Safety
• All sensory materials are age-appropriate and sourced from safe, non-toxic products.
• Materials may include food-based items (rice, flour, corn kernels, oats, food dyes, etc.) unless otherwise specified.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying staff of any allergies or sensitivities before participation.
• Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times during play sessions.
• Play materials are cleaned, replaced, or disposed of regularly to ensure hygiene.
Sick Policy
• Children who are sick must not attend sensory play sessions. This includes (but is not limited to): fever, cough, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, or any contagious illness.
• If a child becomes visibly unwell during a session, families will be asked to leave promptly.
• Families are encouraged to reschedule for a later date when their child is fully healthy.
• This policy is in place to protect all children, families, and staff and will be strictly enforced.
Supervision & Responsibility
• Parents/guardians remain responsible for their child’s behavior, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Our staff will facilitate play and ensure materials are used appropriately, but they do not provide childcare.
• Rough play, unsafe handling of materials, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the activity.
Liability Waiver
By participating in sensory play sessions, parents/guardians acknowledge that:
• Participation is voluntary and carries inherent risks.
• The business is not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or damages that may occur during activities.
• Parents/guardians accept full responsibility for their child’s participation.
• A liability waiver will be required to be signed upon each class registration.
Respect & Inclusion
• We welcome families of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Any discriminatory behavior or disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated.
• Adaptations for sensory sensitivities may be arranged upon request.
